Moldova provided Romania with 12 ampoules of medicine to treat malaria

Chisinau, March 11 / MOLDPRES /- The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations / IGSU / carried out a mission to transport 12 ampoules of medicine for the treatment of malaria, necessary for patients in Romania. The intervention was carried out on the evening of March 10, at the request of the Romanian Ministry of Health.
According to IGSU data, the drug with the international name Artesunatum was taken by IGSU employees from the Clinical Hospital for Infectious Diseases Toma Ciorba and transported to the border with Romania, Sculeni Customs. Here, the ampoules were taken to be transmitted to the management of the Clinical Hospital for Infectious and Tropical Diseases Victor Babeş in Bucharest.
This is the first mission carried out by IGSU in 2022.
