Moldovan deputy PM meets foreign affairs minister of Denmark

Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today met Foreign Affairs Minister of Denmark Jeppe Kofod, on a working visit to Moldova, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The officials tackled aspects on the regional security, in the context of the armed conflict in Ukraine and the actions undertaken by the Moldovan authorities, jointly with the relevant partners, in order to efficiently manage the flow of refugees from Ukraine and provide them with the assistance needed.
Also, the deputy PM informed the Danish diplomat about the latest developments in the Transnistrian file, current dynamic in the present formats of negotiations and Chisinau’s priorities, in order to maintain a constructive dialogue, solve the most pressing problems of the residents on both banks of Dniester and advance in the settlement process.
The officials highlighted the ascendant dynamic of strengthening the Moldovan-Danish cooperation in diverse sectors of common interest. Oleg Serebrian also expressed Moldova’s interest in benefiting from relevant assistance on behalf of Denmark.
