Moldovan president visits Olanesti, Talmaza villages

Chisinau, March 15 / MOLDPRES /- Yesterday President Maia Sandu discussed with people from Olănești and Talmaza villages, Ștefan Vodă district, about their daily problems and new worries that the war in the neighboring country brought to all. The head of state thanked the people for their kindness in hosting a large number of refugees.
According to the presidential press service, talks with citizens also focused on measures taken by the government to ensure food and energy security in the country, to start agricultural work on time, as well as to reduce the economic consequences of the war.
Maia Sandu stressed that the authorities are determined to continue to bring order to public institutions and the judiciary, to improve the business environment to create jobs, to modernize the medical and educational system.
"Despite the great difficulties we are going through, we will continue the development projects of the country and the reforms we have started. Our goal is to create good living conditions in every locality. Now, in order to succeed, we need peace, "said the head of state.
