Moldexpo-based centre of refugees from Chisinau switch to subordination of central authorities

Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/ - The central public authorities have taken over the management of the centre of selection of refugees from Moldexpo.  

The government’s Telegram Channel informed that the Moldexpo-based centre for refugees, which had been earlier managed by the Chisinau city hall, switched to the management of the central public authorities.

“The temporary centre of placement for refugees from Ukraine, located at Moldexpo, does not close, remains functional, with the same purpose; yet, it switches to the management by the government,’’ the press release reads.   

According to the information presented, ‘’this is made, in order to join efforts to implement the United Nations Operational Plan for Refugees and provide services of assistance to refugees, with the involvement of staff.’’

At the same time, the communiqué also reads that the provisions of the bailment agreement, signed between the Moldexpo stock company and the Holy Trinity Municipal Clinical Hospital, are ceased.
