Moldovan president has phone conversation with Czech PM

Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala. The officials discussed the recent security developments in the region, as well as in Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

Maia Sandu reviewed the measures undertaken by the Moldovan authorities to protect and provide assistance to refugees from Ukraine. In the context, the Czech PM expressed gratitude for every support Moldova provides to the Ukrainian citizens in these difficult times.

Also, the head of state said that Moldova relied on the assistance of the European partners for strengthening the country’s efforts of managing the flow of people who cross Moldova’s border.
