Refugees willing to reach EU countries can register for special routes

Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Moldova and want to go to the European Union can register to benefit from international road transport.
According to the Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry (MIDR), the Single Crisis Management Centre, in cooperation with the National Motor Transport Agency (ANTA), will organize international transport routes for the refugees willing to reach EU countries.
Refugees are urged to fill in an online form, which can be found on the website: http://www.anta.gov.md/content/repatriere. Depending on the number of applicants and the destinations chosen, ANTA will make available occasional routes to the cities indicated in the application form.
The passengers should have the travel acts valid for the destination country.
Starting from 8 March 2022, the Single Crisis Management Centre has organized 350 commercial and special road routes, in order to help about 12,000 refugees arrive from the points of crossing the border with Ukraine or from the placement centres of Moldova to EU destinations.
