Moldovan PM to participate in delivery of consignment of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, to visit Ocnita district

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita on 2 April will participate in an event on the delivery of a consignment of humanitarian assistance on behalf of Moldova’s government for Ukraine. The goods’ delivery will take place in the Ukrainian city of Mohyliv-Podilskyi on 2 April at 8:30, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Subsequently, PM Natalia Gavrilita will visit the northern Ocnita town, where she will meet mayors and will discuss the district’s problems, projects underway, as well as the needs faced in the management of the refugees accommodated in the placement centres from the Ocnita district.
Natalia Gavrilita will also meet farmers from north Moldova, in order to discuss the present situation in the sector and the cabinet’s mechanisms for backing farmers, measures of subsidizing and ways of enforcement.
In continuation, the agenda of PM will include a visit to the Otaci Customs Checkpoint, where she will collect facts about the work of this post. Afterwards, the prime minister will visit a centre for the support of refugees from the Otaci town, as well as a centre of selection from Calarasovca, managed by the Interior Ministry and which has a capacity of 300 people.
