Day of national mourning to be tomorrow in Moldova

Chisinau, April 3 / MOLDPRES /- On Monday, April 4, day of national mourning will be declared in the Republic of Moldova in memory of all the innocent lives lost in the last 39 days in Ukraine.
The announcement was made by President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu.
"We are shocked, along with the whole world, by the massacre in the city of Bucea near Kyiv. Moldova strongly condemns these crimes against humanity, just as it condemns this illegal and unprovoked war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, "the head of state said on her official website.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration also came up with a reaction to the massacre in the Ukrainian town.
"We are deeply horrified by the images of civilians killed in the city of Bukea, Ukraine.
The Republic of Moldova strongly condemns the massacre of civilians, and those responsible must be held accountable.
We send our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Ukrainian people ", the MAEIE statement reads.
