Rate of vaccination against COVID-19 reaches 31 per cent in Moldova

Chisinau, 5 April /MOLDPRES/ - The number of people vaccinated against Covid-19 decreased by 24 per cent in the last week, against the week before. Thus, the immunization rate is 31 per cent in Moldova at present. The Health Ministry unveiled data to this effect.
According to the ministry, on 28 March – 3 April, 6,726 people were vaccinated; another 289,786 people went to vaccination centres for the administering of the booster dose.
Thus, the national coverage with one dose, in the general population, is over 31 per cent and with the full scheme – over 30 per cent.
Moldova has received 2,923,860 doses of vaccine in all. The vaccination against COVID-19 is free of charge and is recommended by all health institutions nationally and internationally.
