Revenues worth 20 billion lei collected in Moldova's national public budget in first quarter of 2022

Chisinau, 5 April /MOLDPRES/ - Revenues worth 20 billion lei were collected in the national public budget (BPN) in the first three months of this year, which is by 3.3 billion lei more against the same period of the 2021 year.
According to the Finance Ministry, the expenses stood at 21.1 billion lei, up by 3.9 billion against the same period of the year before. The BPN’s carrying out resulted in a deficit of 1.1 billion lei and the balances of the financial means in the component budgets of the national public budget amounted to 9.4 billion lei.
The state budget revenues on the period January-March 2022 stood at 13 billion lei, which is by 2.5 billion lei more against the same period of the last year.
The revenues managed by the State Fiscal Service amounted to 6.4 billion lei, up by 1.4 billion lei against the same period of the 2021 year; at the same time, the revenues managed by the Customs Service stood at 7.1 billion lei, which is by 1.3 billion lei more against the same period of the year before.
The state budget expenses were carried out in a sum of 14.8 billion lei, up by 3 billion lei against the same period of the last year. The state budget’s fulfillment resulted in a deficit of 1.8 billion lei and the balances of the financial means in the state budget’s accounts amounted to 5.9 billion lei.
The Finance Ministry ensured the fulfillment of all commitments for the January-March months of this year, with all payments fully financed.
