As many as 222 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 4,251 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 222 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 514,650 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

As many as 307 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 45 are in extremely serious condition and 9 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,151 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,767 are under supervision at home.

Another 209 people have been treated. As many as 500,740 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of 1 new death triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,453 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
