Play by departed Moldovan writer reaches its 200th presentation

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Play, The Tree of Life, by Dumitru Matcovschi, stage management of Alexandru Cozub, will take place at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre from Chisinau on 9 April at 18:00.

According to the organizers, the play, which has reached its 200th performance, presents a sad story of warm, emotive, temperamental people, who are hit by suffering. This is a play which denounces the sins of the Moldovan society. The Play, The Tree of Life, urges us to put an end to suffering for good.

The play was staged at national and international festivals, in cities, towns and villages, in Chisinau, Bucharest, in Iasi and Cahul. People from most far-away settlements of Moldova watched the play within a project of cooperation with the public association HelpAge International Moldova.
