As many as 232 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,798 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 232 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 514,882 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

As many as 300 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 41 are in extremely serious condition and 9 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,150 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,630 are under supervision at home.

Another 373 people have been treated. As many as 501,113 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of 2 new deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,455 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
