Meteorologists announced yellow frost code for next few days

Chisinau, 16 Apr. / MOLDPRES /- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced yellow frost code for 17-20 April.

According to meteorologists, at night and in the morning, during the mentioned interval, predominantly in the northern half, frosts with an intensity of -1 ..- 3 ° C are forecast.

On April 17, the weather suddenly cools down, the thermometers indicating maximums up to 10 degrees Celsius. Also, rains with electric discharges are announced throughout the country.

SHS specialists state that, during April, as a rule, the values of the average daily air temperature can oscillate in the territory between -1 ..- 6ºC and +22 .. + 25ºC.

In the second month of spring, frosts in the air are possible in the country on average until April 20, and on the ground - until the end of the month, but in some years they can be reported in May.
