Moldovan cinema man launches book at National Library

Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/ - A book titled, Adevărul în cadru și în afara lui (The Truth within and outside it) (The cinema man’s confessions), signed by cinema man, film director, script writer and teacher Andrei Buruiana, was launched at the National Library of Moldova (BNRM) on 27 April.   

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Andrei Buruiana said that this book was the story of his life and, at the same time, a novel he had experienced. ‘’I want the things told in this book to be assessed as a story of an impartial man, who aspires to maintain on this position, as far as possible. I recognize that this is not easy, as this is the story of my life, the totality of moments experienced, different and not always happy. I would not like this book to be perceived as a moralizing story, an imposing of the personal position, an indication for contemporary people and the descendants. Accept it as a confession, a discussion with you and with myself,’’ the author also said.   

Andrei Buruiana was born in the Carpineni commune, central Hancesti, on 24 September 1936. In 1969, he graduated from the Film Sound Effects Faculty of the Institute of Film Directors from Kiev. He worked as sound operator, then director of feature films and documentaries at the Moldova-Film studio and National Television. As sound operator, he cooperated at the creation of full-length feature films. During years, he made more programmes at the National Television.
