Moldovan fine artist exhibits works at Eugene Ionesco National Theatre

Chisinau, 29 April /MOLDPRES/ - A personal painting exhibition titled, Coloured Revelations, by fine artist, Master in Art Andrei Negura has been recently inaugurated at the Eugene Ionesco National Theatre.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Andrei Negura said that the event tad taken place within the Night Actions of the Eugene Ionesco National Theatre. ‘’The exhibition comprises 54 works. These are abstract works of four cycles of works made in the last eight months. I united them in the title Coloured Revelations, as these works are just openings in my work in terms of technique and message,’’ Andrei Negura said.
Andrei Negura was born in the Echimauti village, north-eastern Rezina district, on 16 August 1956. In 1975, he finished the Alexandru Plamadeala Fine Arts College from Chisinau, in 1980 – the A. Kosygin Academy of Textiles from Moscow and in 1985 – the Academy of Decorative Arts from Budapest.
He had exhibitions in Moldova, Belgium, France, Italy, Romania, Spain and other countries. In 1999, Negura was awarded the Silver Medal at the Salon du Plnnovation Eureka, Brussels, Belgium, as well as other important distinctions.
The exhibition will be opened till 28 May.
