Over 7,000 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, May 3. / MOLDPRES /- On 24 February - 3 May, the Office for Migration and Asylum received 7,102 asylum applications.

According to the Ministry of Interior, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 410,120 Ukrainian citizens entered the territory of our country, 310,461 left, and 90,086 Ukrainian citizens remained.

Currently, there are 93,918 foreigners in Moldova, of which 47,850 are minors (Ukrainian and other nationals who have entered the MD-AU segment).
