ANSA withdrew batch of poultry from shelves

Chisinau, May 6 / MOLDPRES /- The National Agency for Food Safety / ANSA / said it has initiated the procedure for withdrawing from the trade network of poultry meat in assortment distributed by PB-NORD Ltd, after detecting the presence of Salmonella serotype.
According to ANSA, the batch of refrigerated poultry meat expires on May 9. People who have purchased the products are asked not to consume them, and are entitled to return them to the store where they purchased them.
Under current legislation, food business owners who own non-compliant products are required to withdraw them from the market and cooperate with the National Agency for Food Safety on actions taken to avoid or reduce risks to human health presented by a non-compliant food product.
