More historical buildings to become national cultural heritage in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today adopted a decision on giving the status of monument to more cultural and historical buildings.

Among the buildings due to be included in the Register of monuments of Moldova, protected by the state, there are the building of the Chisinau Circus and the one of the former headquarters of the Public Nourishment Ministry (presently the building of the Prosecutor General’s Office), the building with park of the Maternity Hospital No 2 and the hermitage, The Cave of Bechir, from the Soroca municipality.

At the same time, the register of monuments will be updated through the correcting of mistakes identified following the inventorying of a part of the architectural and historical fund of the Chisinau municipality, carried out in 2020.
