Moldova's Commission for Emergency Situations instructs procedures for providing Moldovan citizens with travel documents, electric energy

Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Services Agency (ASP) will organize the procedure of urgent procurement for purchasing forms for passports, secured holographic lamination and software services, needed for the production of identity acts. A decision to this effect today was approved at a meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, the decision from 18 May 2022 on extending the validity term of expired passports for Moldovan citizens will be enforced both in relation to Moldova’s citizens and the countries which confirmed the provisions of the CSE Instruction to this end. The list of states will be published on the webpage of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry.
At a today’s meeting, the CSE members to extend, for the next June period, the term of procurement of electric energy by the Energocom stock company, based on direct negotiations. Another decision by the Commission for Emergency Situations is focused on the signing of a contract on purchasing natural gas in a volume of 24,500 thousand cubic metres between the Energocom stock company and Moldovagaz stock company, at the purchasing price from last March-April.
