Over 50 waiting stations in Chisinau to be rehabilitated

Chisinau, May 24 / MOLDPRES /- More than 50 public transport waiting stations in the capital will be rehabilitated in the current period.

According to the Chisinau city hall, the list of interventions included the objectives in an advanced state of degradation and those in which the pavilions are missing. At the same time, in the stations where the flow of passengers is higher, double pavilions will be installed.

For the works, 4 million lei (about 200 thousand euros) were allocated from the municipal budget. Also, one million lei were provided for the maintenance of waiting stations for public transport.

In total, in the last two years, the city hall together with public and private partners renovated 360 waiting stations, of which 50 were last year.
