Moldovan parliament creates commission for regulations in oil products sector

Chisinau, 2 June /MOLDPRES/ - A special commission, set up by the parliament, will consider the efficiency of the enforcement of the regulations in the oil products sector. The concerned decision was adopted with the votes of 52 MPs at a plenary meeting of the parliament today.
The need to create the commission comes from the evolution of the prices for oil products on the last period, as well as from recommendations by the Supreme Security Council from 27 May 2022.
The lawmakers elected the composition of the commission too. The deputy head of the parliament’s commission for economy, budget and finances, Radu Marian, will be the commission’s head; Dorian Istrati – secretary; members – Ion Spac, Ersilia Qatrawi. The parliamentary faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists and the one of the Shor Political Party did not put forward representatives in the commission.
The special commission will involve in its work all competent authorities of the state in the field, will hear the sides and people involved and in the end it will submit the activity report to parliament. The term of the report’s presentation will be one month.
