Campaign launched in Sangerei to support vaccination process

Chisinau, June 3 / MOLDPRES /- Let's be interested in having healthy children and protected adults was the main message of an event organized yesterday in Sangerei, as part of the campaign to intensify the local vaccination process -Get vaccinated! Protect your future!

The local public authorities, the representatives of the Government in the territory, the medical and social workers, the representatives of the education system from Sangerei district discussed the concrete steps for the elaboration and implementation of a local action plan in order to increase the vaccination rate in the next three months.

The World Health Organization recommends 95% vaccination coverage for countries for routine immunization and 70% against COVID-19.

Vaccination campaign launched by the Ministry of Health and the National Agency for Public Health, with the support of the World Health Organization and the European Union will take place in ten administrative-territorial units, where there is low vaccine coverage - Straseni, Balti, Criuleni, Gagauzia, Cahul, Calarasi, Causeni, Chisinau, Sangerei and Ungheni.
