Chisinau, June 3 / MOLDPRES /- Discussions on the situation in the Security Zone continued at the 2 June meeting of the Joint Control Commission based on reports of the Joint Military Command, the Office for Reintegration Policy has reported.
The main issue was the installation of unilateral posts and the illegal presence in the Security Zone of the exponents of the force structures subordinated to Tiraspol, equipped with automatic pistols.
The violations were documented by the OSCE Mission to Moldova. The representatives of the OSCE Mission to Moldova listed in the monitoring report for May 23 cases found in the districts of Camenca, Râbnița, Dubasari, Grigoriopol, Slobozia, in the cities of Tiraspol and Bender. These are posts with armed personnel and reinforced by concrete blocks.
The Moldovan delegation constantly condemned these provocative actions of Tiraspol and also requested in this working meeting the unconditional elimination of posts and other obstacles that undermine the free movement of citizens.
The members of the Chisinau delegation made concrete proposals in accordance with the JCC Regulations, and urged the Commission to take a decision on the issue. Also, the Moldovan delegation noted that it always based its actions on the provisions of the acts of the peacekeeping mission.
Traditionally, the Tiraspol delegation has invented various tricks just to prevent the acceptance of the draft decision.
The Commission will return to the subject in a week.
