Moldovan PM pays official visit to State of Qatar

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita pays an official visit to the State of Qatar on 11-13 June.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the PM will have a meeting with Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Thani.

The prime minister will also discuss with Her Highness, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, who us chairperson of the Qatar Foundation. Natalia Gavrilita will meet the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar and Qatari business people. At the same time, the PM will participate in the inauguration of a sculpture dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Moldova and the State of Qatar, as well as in the inauguration of an exhibition of small sculptures by artists from Moldova.

At the visit, the sides will sign bilateral documents, which will boost the Moldova-Qatar relations: the Agreement on the abolition of the short-stay visas for the holders of ordinary passports and the Agreement on the economic, technical and scientific cooperation in the agriculture sector.
