Chisinau, June 23 / MOLDPRES /- At a today's working meeting of the Joint Control Commission in Bender the Joint Military Command presented two weekly reports on the situation in the Security Zone, documenting the presence of installed posts without Commission coordination, the Office of Reintegration Policy has reported.
The delegation of the Republic of Moldova continued to plead for the elimination of illegal posts from the Security Zone, as well as of the armed soldiers from the Tiraspol force structures.
In addressing the other members of the JCC, Chisinau's representatives highlighted Tiraspol's destructive position, which does not give up attempts to reduce the role of the Commission and the Joint Peacekeeping Forces in controlling the situation in the Security Zone.
The Delegation of the Republic of Moldova drew attention to the fact that Tiraspol is bringing additional forces to the Security Zone and disregards the existing peacekeeping mechanisms on the Dniester River.
The delegates of Chisinau categorized the actions of ignoring the provisions of the 1992 Agreement as provocative and inadmissible, calling on the entire Commission to contribute to the adoption of measures to end them.
Discussions on the agenda will continue on June 30.
