Moldovan government approves plans on admission to vocational education institutions

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved the plans on admission to the vocational education institutions with budgetary financing and school fee, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The state order for the secondary vocational education provides for the admission of 8,267 people with budgetary financing, of whom 1,193 for education at professional training programmes through dual education, by 264 places more against the year before.
At the same time, the admission plan based on contract, with the payment of the school fee, in the public and private secondary vocational education institutions includes 562 places.
The state order for the post-secondary and non-tertiary post-secondary vocational education provides for the admission of 3,940 people with budgetary financing, of whom 187 for education at syllabi of professional training through dual education, by 21 places more against 2021. The admission plan based on contract, with the payment of the school fee, in the public and private education institutions includes 7,431 places.
The state order’s approval has the goal to ensure the professional education with qualified staff, in line with the labour market’s needs.
This year, the admission to the vocational education institutions will start on 18 July.
