Chisinau, 4 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- The pellet factory in Pașcani, Criuleni district, which was built with the financial support of the Government of Japan, in 2015, has relaunched its activities. In order to familiarize himself with the pellet production process, the resident representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Sugimoto Satoshi, paid a working visit to the company yesterday.
Currently, the factory has approximately 250 tons of raw material to ensure the production process. The factory's activity was revitalized after an extensive process of identifying and mitigating deficiencies in the technological production line, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).
The Japanese official thanked the authorities of the Republic of Moldova for their involvement in the reactivation of the production process, as well as for the progress made in this field. "In the same way, JICA is counting on the factory's contribution in providing pellets to citizens all over the country", said Sugimoto Satoshi.
The factory in Paşcani was equipped with equipment through the 2 KR Project, which was launched in 2000 with the aim of equipping Moldovan farmers with agricultural equipment. During that period, over five thousand Moldovan farmers were able to purchase agricultural machinery units.
