Officials from central Moldova trained how to proceed in crisis situations

Chisinau, Aug. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Several representatives of state institutions in the Center Development Region were trained on first aid and disaster preparedness and management of high-risk situations. The training took place on August 4-5, with the support of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) Moldova.
The purpose of the workshop was to train the representatives of public institutions on the rules of conduct and the main methods of protection in case of exceptional situations, the methods of providing medical first aid, the rules of using individual and collective means of protection.
"During the training period, the participants were informed about the rules and individual behavior regarding the management of high-risk situations and the optimal methods of providing first aid for each particular case. The theoretical lessons were accompanied by a series of practical exercises, and the people participating in the training sessions will later disseminate the information and experiences acquired to other factors in the community", explained the Center Regional Development Agency (ADR).
The project Support package for the Central Development Region as a response to emergency situations is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the project Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova (MSPL). The MSPL project is implemented by GIZ Moldova in partnership with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova.
