Moldova to join Climathon movement

Chisinau, 9 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- The Agency for Energy Efficiency (AEE) will launch the Climathon movement at national level. For this purpose, on August 13-14, a forum will be organized in Chisinau.

According to AEE, attending the event will be all those who want their ideas of energy efficiency, renewable energy, ecological transport, waste management to have a positive impact on the climate.

"During the two days of the Climathon forum, participants will learn what a successful and impactful climate challenge means, analyze and discuss the effects of climate challenges and have the opportunity to design a challenge that fits the local context and can be implemented" , indicates the cited source.

Climathon is an international movement that aims to involve cities and citizens in climate action. It lays the foundation for tangible projects, impact-driven start-ups and long-lasting conversations with decision-makers around city plans and policies.
