Rosselihoznadzor to set restrictions on import of vegetable products from Moldova from 15 August

Chisinau, 9 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- The Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service of the Russian Federation (Rosselihoznadzor) announced that from August 15, it will set temporary restrictions on the import of plant products from some districts of the Republic of Moldova. The decision of the Russian authorities is explained by the "unfavorable phytosanitary situation" on the territory of our country.
According to Rosselihoznadzor, the import of vegetable products from the districts of Anenii Noi, Basarabeasca, Briceni, Cahul, Cantemir, Călăraşi, Causeni, Cimişlia, Criuleni, Donduşeni, Drochia, Edineţ, Făleşti, Floreşti, Glodeni, Hânceşti, Ialoveni, Leova, Nisporeni, Ocniţa is prohibited.
"The service has undertaken several actions regarding the regionalization of the territory of the Republic of Moldova in the context of the spread of vegetable crop diseases, a fact that allowed the preparation of a list of localities and enterprises, which will be able to export vegetable and vegetable products to Russia", indicates Rosselihoznadzor.
