PM had farewell meeting with Lithuanian Ambassador to Chisinau

Chisinau, August 11 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița today had a meeting with Ambassador of Lithuania to Moldova Kestuutits Kudzmanas, who has completed his mission in our country, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Gavrilita congratulated the Lithuanian official for successful mandate and significant contribution made to the development of Moldovan-Lithuanian relations, during which a series of high-level state visits were made.
During the discussions, Natalia Gavrilița expressed her interest in continuing to strengthen Moldovan-Lithuanian cooperation, considering that Lithuania is one of the closest partners in supporting the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova and implementing the reforms provided for by the Association Agreement RM-EU.
Also, the official thanked the Lithuanian Government for the financial assistance of 750 thousand euros, offered for the purpose of managing the flow of Ukrainian refugees, as well as for the willingness to resettle 2000 refugees from our country.
The officials noted the bilateral collaboration in the field of food security. In this regard, ANSA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the competent authority in Lithuania. Also, a Twinning Project is being implemented, in which experts from Lithuania provide consultancy to specialists from ANSA, AIPA and MAIA in the field of agriculture, rural development and food safety.
