Preparations for new academic year discussed with directors of educational institutions with Romanian language teaching in Transnistrian region

Chisinau, August 12 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian together with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Bureau of Reintegration Policy held a working meeting with the participation of directors and some teaching staff from the eight educational institutions teaching in Romanian in the Transnistrian region.

According to the Reintegration Policy Office, Oleg Serebrian was informed about the progress of the implementation of the projects financed through the program of reintegration activities of the country for the year 2022, the main achievements achieved by the educational institutions in 2021-2022 academic year, but also the objectives planned for the new school year.

At the same time, regarding the preparations for the new school year, the difficulties faced by the eight schools teaching in the Romanian language and possible ways of intervention to solve them were discussed.

The Office and the Ministry of Education and Research assured of full openness on making all necessary efforts to ensure the good functioning of these schools, and it was agreed to maintain and continue an active dialogue in the interest of students, teachers and the development of a qualitative educational process.
