Most requested specialties this year - law, dentistry, IT

Chisinau, August 12 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) announced today the results of the basic session of admission to higher education in the Republic of Moldova for the academic year 2022-2023. The most requested specialties this year were law, economic sciences, dentistry and IT engineering.

For the new academic year several new specialties in the field of Arts, considered to be the "professions of the future" - Multimedia Production, Game Design, Animation - were proposed, which were highly requested by the candidates, being filled both the budget places and the with fee.

Thus, from the total number of places occupied in the 20 specialties in the field of Arts (about 500), 232 students (46.4%) opted for these three new specialties.
