Meteorologists announced Yellow Code of atmospheric instability

Chisinau, August 13 /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service has announced a Yellow Code for atmospheric instability for today and tomorrow, August 13-14.

According to meteorologists, during the indicated period, electric discharges, isolated heavy showers (15-25 l/m2) accompanied by gales of up to 15-20 meters per second and hail are expected.

On Sunday, up to 33 degrees Celsius will be recorded during the day, and up to 20 degrees - at night.

In the event of a Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecasted meteorological phenomena (showers, electrical discharges, wind intensifications, high or low temperatures, risk of increased flows and levels in rivers and streams, etc.) are usual for the territory of the country, but they can temporarily become dangerous for certain socio-economic activities.
