Fourth edition of Summer Fruit Festival held in Ştefan Vodă

Chisinau, August 15 /MOLDPRES/- Peach Paradise was the title of a Summer Fruit Festival, organized yesterday in Ştefan Vodă by local authorities.

The agenda of the event included sales exhibitions supported by economic agents from the region, folk craftsmen, agricultural producers, etc. Also, the city hosted a parade of the popular costume and a cultural-artistic program.

"The festival aimed to promote local fruit producers and boost the development of the fruit growing sector in the district, promote modern technologies for the production of fruit and fruit planting material, as well as familiarize the population with the benefits of consuming healthy food", said Diana Rusu, head of the Agriculture Department in Ștefan Vodă district.

This year, the Peach Paradise Festival reached fourth edition.
