Passport issuance to be cheaper, without restrictions as of today

Chisinau, August 15 /MOLDPRES/- The Public Services Agency (ASP) announced today that, starting from August 15, 2022, all citizens of the Republic of Moldova can perfect their passports without restrictions and without presenting confirmatory documents.

The fee for completing the passport within 20 working days has been reduced from 850 to 650 lei. "Citizens can complete two passports at the same time or request the second document, even if they already have a valid one," indicates ASP.

Also, through the MDelivery service, passports can be delivered to your home, both in the country and abroad.

"Passports can be completed at any multifunctional center, regardless of registration at home or residence, both based on prior appointments and according to the first-come, first-served principle," summarizes the quoted source.
