Yellow code of atmospheric instability announced in Moldova

Chisinau, August 16 /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service has announced a Yellow Code for atmospheric instability for today.

According to meteorologists, electrical discharges are expected, heavy rain (15-25 l/m2) accompanied by gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second and hail.

In the following days, up to +32 degrees Celsius will be recorded during the day, and up to +20 degrees - at night.

In the event of a Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecasted meteorological phenomena (rains, electrical discharges, wind, high or low temperatures, risk of increases in flows and levels in rivers and streams, etc.) are common for the territory of the country, but they can temporarily become dangerous for certain socio-economic activities.
