Joboteca project to be carried out in schools in five districts

Chisinau, August 19 /MOLDPRES/- In 25 schools in the districts of Soroca, Călăraşi, Nisporeni, Străseni and Căușeni, until 2024, the pilot program to prepare young people from the Republic of Moldova for the labor market, called Joboteca, will be carried out.
These schools were each equipped with a joboteca - "career library" - where middle school and high school students will participate in guidance programs in choosing a job.
According to the Ministry of Education, within the JOBOTECA - pilot program for the access of young people from Moldova to the labor market project, Joboteca spaces will be created; teacher training will be carried out that will make the Joboteca a space where young people can find answers to the questions that bother them about career orientation, entrepreneurship, they can develop life skills and employment in the field of work, they will know what employment and business development opportunities are in their community The project will also strengthen the capacities of local NGOs to develop and implement community initiatives to help children and young people find opportunities to develop their life, employment and internship etc.
The project, worth over one million euros, is implemented by the Terre des hommes Foundation Romania and Terre des hommes Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, being financed by the European Union.
