Tender related to construction of road in southern Moldova launched

Chisinau, August 22 /MOLDPRES/- The State Road Administration (ASD) announced today the launch of the public tender for the purchase of consultancy services for the technical supervision of the execution of the construction works of the M3 road Chisinau – Comrat – Giugiulești – border with Romania (bypassing the city of Vulcănești). The contract is part of the Road Sector Program, and the financial support for its implementation will be provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

In the context of ensuring quality control, during the execution of the construction works of the mentioned road sector, in the following a supervision company will be selected which will be assigned the role of "Engineer" within the contract. All eligible companies are invited to submit their bids by the deadline of 6 October 2022.

The works contract involves the construction of a new road with a length of about 8.58 km to the east and south of the city of Vulcănești. "The project includes the following works: the arrangement of side accesses to the agricultural fields and the arrangement of the intersection with the regional road G142 "Vulcănești - Etulia"; the construction of a bridge at km 2+965 with a length of 42 meters and a passage at km 4+690; the construction of new embankments on the sector km 2+800 – km 8+580; reconstruction of the existing road sector km 0+100 – km 2+800", indicates ASD.

The international public tender will take place on the online procurement portal (ECEPP) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
