Chisinau mayor announces creation of National Alternative Movement Party

Chisinau, August 23 /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban announced today the creation of the National Alternative Movement Party.

During a briefing, the mayor specified that the formation is currently being registered and its program is being worked on.

"We want the changes made at the capital city hall to be carried out throughout the country, that's why we decided to create this party. We want the development of the Republic of Moldova, preserving the country's neutrality and European course. Citizens are waiting for an alternative. We are open to those who want to work so that things move for the better. We started the changes in Chisinau and will continue them throughout the country. We want the Republic of Moldova to reach European standards, because the citizens of the country deserve this", said the mayor.

Ion Ceban was elected mayor of Chisinau on November 11, 2019. He was a candidate from the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova.
