Cultural-artistic events to be organized on Romanian Language Day

Chisinau, Aug. 31 /MOLDPRES/- Several cultural-artistic events, dedicated to the Romanian Language Day will take place today in the capital and throughout the country.

According to the schedule of the Chisinau City Hall, today, starting at 10:00, flowers will be laid in the Mihai Eminescu square and on the Alley of the Classics in the Ștefan cel Mare Public Garden.

From 10:30 a.m., in the Ștefan cel Mare Public Garden, the official opening of the musical-literary program will take place, and diplomas will be awarded to the winners of the traditional municipal competition Dictation for everyone, 6th edition.

Also Chisinau residents and guests of the capital will have a program with the participation of well-known personalities in culture, representatives of the Writers' Union and artists: Teo Chiriac, Arcadie Suceveanu, Vladimir Beșleagă, Ion Hadârcă, Cristi Aldea Teodorovici, Cristina Pintilie, Cristina Scarlat, Viorel Burlacu, Vali Boghian, etc.

At 12:00, the 5th edition of the Bookfest Chisinau International Book Fair will be inaugurated at the State University of Moldova. Starting at 2:00 p.m., on the Terrace of the Writers' Union of Moldova the 20 volume- Anthology of young poetry will be launched.

At 3:00 p.m., at the Constantin Brâncusi Exhibition Center, the exhibition-competition of contemporary plastic art Moldova Salons, the XXXII edition, will be inaugurated.
