Moldovan, Romanian officials discuss energy security, projects

Chisinau, 2 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Parliaments of the Republic of Moldova and Romania are to set the agenda priorities of the two legislative institutions. The issue was discussed today at a meeting between Speaker Igor Grosu and acting president of the Romanian Senate Alina Gorghiu, on a visit to Chisinau, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The talks also focused on the cooperation in ensuring energy security, joint infrastructure projects, solutions to help vulnerable categories of the population and integration of refugees. The speaker thanked Romania for helping implementation of several projects that our citizens enjoy, and for the experience in adjusting national legislation to the Community acquis.
The official also referred to the priorities of the autumn parliamentary session, mentioning, in particular, the improvement of legislation related to the field of justice, combating disinformation and propaganda, zero tolerance for non-transparent financing of political parties. "We will conscientiously do our homework and pay due attention to vulnerable areas," Grosu said.
