Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/ - More buildings from the centre of Chisinau today were disconnected from power supply in the wake of a damage.
The Premier Energy power provider said the disconnection had occurred because of a technical defection. The provider informed that teams had moved on the spot and were involved in the liquidation of the defections and consumers’ reconnection to the power supply.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, representatives of the Lumteh municipal enterprise noted that, following the damage, six traffic lights from the capital’s centre had been turned off. ‘’They will be reconnected immediately after the power supply is reestablished,’’ the quoted source said.
The press officer of the National Public Security Inspectorate (INSP), Natalia Golovco, said that, ’’following the disconnection of the traffic lights, the police teams moved on the spot, in order to ease the traffic.’’
The power disconnections hit the work of institutions and economic agents from the centre of Chisinau, which had to cease their work. At the same time, the movement of trolley buses was not ceased because of the disconnections.
