Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/ - The 21st issue of the Republican Festival of Ethnic Minorities titled, Unity through Diversity, will be held in Moldova after two years of break, because of the pandemic, on 17-18 September.
According to the deputy director general of the Interethnic Relations Agency, Vera Petuhov, the Festival of Ethnic Minorities has a simple task and, at the same time, a very important one: promotion and consolidation of the interethnic peace in Moldova, in Europe and all over the world. ‘’Only through communication and dialogue, we can interact constructively, preserve the human dignity and contribute to the society’s progress. I am confident that the 21st edition will have the impact expected, will boost the true values and benchmarks with which we are endowed, so that we manage to look into the future with more confidence, with more tolerance and to consolidate the effort to edify the future here in our common home, the Republic of Moldova,’’ Vera Petuhov said.
On 18 September, the Republican Festival of Ethnic Minorities will be held in the Stefan cel Mare Public Garden from the Moldovan capital. The city’s visitors and the ones interested in the local cultural diversity will be able to visit ethnic yards, watch shows by well-known artists and bands of national minorities from Moldova.
The event is organized by the Interethnic Relations Agency, in partnership with the Chisinau city hall, Coordinating Council of the ethnic and cultural organizations and local public authorities.
