Moldovan parliament to consider government's demand on extending emergency state

Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs will consider the government’s demand on the extension of the emergency state at a plenary meeting on 6 October. The parliament’s standing bureau, which approved the supplement to the 6 October plenary meeting’s agenda, took a decision to this effect today.
Among the drafts proposed by the standing commissions, there are the ratification of the agreement on grant between Moldova and the Council of Europe’s Development Bank for the carrying out of the financial assistance from the fund for migrants and refugees, Supporting the supply of health services for the people hit by the crisis from Ukraine in Moldova.
A legislative initiative was included on the agenda, which aims at increasing the number of people who can benefit from legal assistance guaranteed by state, as well as a draft law on the establishment of a moratorium on the state control at the micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises. The lawmakers will also examine, in the final reading, amendments to more normative acts, among which the Law on the protection of the national mobile cultural heritage, the Law on Prosecutor’s Office and the Law on local public administration.
