Moldova to benefit from grant worth 900,000 euros on behalf of EU

Chisinau, 6 October /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs today ratified the agreement between the government and the Council of Europe Development Bank. Under this agreement, Moldova will benefit from a grant worth 900,000 euros for the retroactive covering of the expenses borne by the health system for the providing of medical assistance to refugees from Ukraine.
The grant will be used by the Health Ministry, through the National Health Insurances Company, for financing of the expenses, which had two components: medical assistance provided through medical institutions and medical assistance provided by mobile teams.
The agreement’s validity term is seen to be till 31 January 2023.
