Authorization procedure for construction of communication networks to be simplified

Chisinau, Oct. 20 /MOLDPRES/- The authorization procedure for the construction of electronic communications networks and engineering networks will be simplified. The parliament adopted a draft law in the final reading today.

The new provisions refer to the installation works of engineering and electronic communications networks and infrastructure elements associated with these networks on or inside existing buildings, constructions and installations. Another type of work is the installation of internal access networks in the infrastructure (systematized cable routes and technological spaces) for the installation of equipment and other infrastructure elements of internal access networks in buildings. A third type of work is the maintenance, repair, replacement and retrofitting of networks. The project also regulates the connection of subscribers to engineering and electronic communications networks.

According to the deputies, updating the legislative framework will allow expanding public access to the services provided through the respective networks.
