Work of ferryboat from east Moldova settlement ceased because of strong wind

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - The work of the ferryboat from the Molovata settlement, which makes connection between the two banks of Dniester, today was ceased because of the strong wind.

According to the Customs Service, the ferryboat’s activity will be resumed when the weather conditions allow this.

The State Hydrometeorological Service announced a Yellow Code of strong wind, valid all over Moldova, for today. According to meteorologists, the north-western wind will have gustings of up to 15-20 metres/second during the day.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are usual for Moldova; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
