Moldovan president, ambassador of Albania discuss bilateral cooperation

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met Sofia-based Ambassador of Albania to Moldova Donika Hoxha, the presidential press service has reported.

The meeting’s agenda was focused on the bilateral relations and the good practices which Albania can share with Moldova as state candidate for accession to the European Union.

The head of state expressed confidence that the two countries would find themselves, in the nearest future, in the European family as full-fledged states. Also, Maia Sandu stressed that the governance carried out more important reforms, which are to speed up the process of European integration, among which the justice one. In this respect, Albania’s experience to clean its justice, through the enforcement of procedures of evaluation of judges and prosecutors, can serve as example for Moldova.
